A really old board which has ‘Bread’ carved to the top of board, a flower at the base and leaves to the side. This is a board that has seen plenty of life, with some old wood worm holes which have been treated and filled, knife cut marks to the wood and some staining which all add to the character and charm of this lovely old bread board.
.
I think this is made from Sycamore due to it feeling quite lightweight.
When on a surface there is some rocking to it because it is slightly warped.
A wonderful display piece would look great on a dresser in a farmhouse or cottage kitchen creating a great rust look.
