Coal tongs which I believe to be copper. Very useable, great addition to your fireplace and a bit different from the usual brass ones.
Used vintage item so will have been well used over the years but sill very useable, usual marks from years of use. I have polished these and they have come up lovely, there are carbon marks to the ends of tongs.
