This would have been used many years ago for taking hot water from the kitchen to dining room by the maids/servants in large houses.
This lovely old copper vessel has had many years of use, some visible repairs around spout area and dents to the copper, would make a great display piece or could be used for fresh flower arrangements as it still appears to be watertight. Great for cottage or farmhouse decor.
