Smiths Crisp Jar

An original and highly collectible glass Smiths Crisp Ja.

Lid is etched with SMITHS, originally would have been red and blue, some red letters still visible.

Stamped to lower base “This is the property of Smiths potato crisps (1928) Ltd 

Condition is good with a few nibbles/chips to lid and rim, which I have tried to show in photos.

Would have originally been used to sell crisps from in pubs, now highly collectible.

Dates from around 1920-30s

Great piece of vintage pub advertising.
