Antique English Copper Coal
In antique condition this lovely coal bucket would sit beautifully next to an open fireplace.
Heavily riveted to the base, side seam and along the top this bucket has a good weight to it weighing approximately 4 Kgs.
Of course an item of this age will have signs of heavy use over the years with the usual dents and dings, patina and age related wear and tear, which if anything all add to the character of this wonderful piece .
The banding along the bottom has come away from the base in places, this does not affect the use or look in any way and is not really noticeable, please study photos where I have tried to show this.
The bucket has a brass handle that folds flat. All fixings really firm.
