A beautiful basket made from wicker in this unusual capsule shape, possibly used for harvesting fruit or grapes.
Really lovely condition with a bentwood arched handle, the handle is very firm as is the rest of the basket, not sure how old this is, judging from the good condition I would say it is not that old, it has a lovely vintage/rustic look to it.
A beautiful statement piece, this large basket would look wonderful in a farmhouse or cottage setting.
